Director of Communications and Outreach, State of Georgia’s Employees’ Retirement System (ERSGA)
Danielle Templeton is the Director of Communications and Outreach for the State of Georgia’s Employees’ Retirement System (ERSGA).
Danielle has served ERSGA since 2018 and brings more than 25 years of experience in communications, public relations, and strategic marketing. She leads internal and external communications for Georgia’s state employee retirement plans and is known for making complex financial topics clear, engaging, and accessible.
Danielle holds a Journalism degree from St. Thomas Aquinas College, a masters in Communications from Walden University, a graduate certificate in Strategic Marketing from Cornell University, and a recent certificate in Artificial Intelligence from Georgia Tech. One of her key areas of interest is the intersection of AI and communications and how emerging tools can better serve members and public sector organizations.
She is a frequent keynote speaker across Georgia State Government and conferences, and is an active member of NCPERS, NASRA, and NAGDCA, where she also serves on the Annual Conference Committee.
A fun personal note: Danielle’s lineage traces back to the Mayflower. She is a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and an active volunteer in support of local veterans and active service members.
