For pension workers, retirement planning questions often extend beyond a pension alone. This session offers a clear look at Social Security and Medicare and how both programs fit into the larger retirement picture. In this 60-minute presentation, attendees will explore common areas of confusion, hear audience-relevant examples, and leave with a stronger understanding of what to pay attention to as future decisions come into view.

This session will be led by Jeff Stein, CFP®, a San Diego-based financial educator with more than 27 years of experience helping individuals prepare for retirement and navigate important financial decisions. Since joining Financial Knowledge in 2018, Jeff has presented hundreds of programs for both public and private sector audiences. He is known for bringing financial concepts to life through engaging stories, practical examples, and insights gained from decades in the field. Participants consistently appreciate his talent for making retirement-related concepts easier to understand and apply. Outside of work, Jeff is an avid deep-sea fisherman, loves traveling to Florida, and is a proud cat lover.
