Ben Colussy

Ben Colussy is a dedicated retirement plan administrator, brings 18 years of experience in managing retirement plans to Arapahoe County Government (in Colorado).  With a keen eye for detail and a passion for ensuring financial security for retirees, Ben effectively oversees the administration of the County’s pension plan, including enrollment, contributions, distributions, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

 Throughout his career, Ben has demonstrated a commitment to providing exceptional service to plan participants, assisting them in understanding their retirement options and making informed decisions for their future.  He is known for his ability to communicate complex retirement concepts in a clear and accessible manner, empowering employees to take control of their financial well-being.

In addition to his experience in retirement plan administration, Ben stays current with industry trends and legislative changes, through various contacts within the NPEA network and with other retirement industry professionals. 

Ben holds a Bachelor of Arts, History degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder. He has the Certified Retirement Counselor ® (CRC®) designation with the International Foundation for Retirement Education (InFre) and Texas Tech University, and The Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS) designation with the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP) and the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania.
