Ronda Peterson

In addition to her role as the NPEA Executive Director, Ronda Peterson is the financial education coordinator with the 457 deferred compensation plan administered by the Missouri State Employees’ Retirement System (MOSERS). She oversees the daily activities of the financial education team assisting state of Missouri employees with determining their individual retirement goals and strategies.

Her first tenure in the public pension industry included 21 years of service with the Public School and Education Employee Retirement Systems of Missouri (PSRS/PEERS). As the Administrator of Member Education, she played an integral role in the creation of a comprehensive education program that served members statewide and at all career stages. She also served eight years as the Director of Member Services prior to retiring from PSRS/PEERS in 2017.

Ronda holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Lincoln University and a Graduate Certificate in Personal Financial Planning from Kansas State University. She has been involved with NPEA since 2001 and served on the Board from 2013 through 2021.
